The perfect recipe for stale pitta bread that needs a second chance nothing goes to waste, and you get a seriously tasty snack out of it.

You’ll need:

  • Three pitta bread

  • Three tablespoons of Laffe Red Chilli Oil (or more if you like a good kick!)

Let’s make it:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and grab a baking tray.

  2. Tear or slice your pittas into bite-sized pieces. If you’re into that extra crispy, rustic vibe, tearing them by hand is the way to go.

  3. Spread the pitta pieces out on the tray in a nice even layer.

  4. Drizzle over the Red Chilli Oil and give everything a good toss! We like to use about 3 tablespoons, because we love that slow-building heat!

  5. Pop them in the oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Keep an eye on them - they can go from golden to “oops” pretty quickly!

  6. Let them cool slightly (if you can resist).

  7. Add a dip to take it to the next level.
