Our recipes are all about turning tired ingredients into tasty wins. Whether it’s bendy carrots or bread on its last day, we’ve got simple, smart ways to help you cook with what’s already in your fridge.
The perfect recipe for stale pitta bread that needs a second chance nothing goes to waste, and you get a seriously tasty snack out of it.

You’ll need:
Three pitta bread
Three tablespoons of Laffe Red Chilli Oil (or more if you like a good kick!)
Let’s make it:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) and grab a baking tray.
Tear or slice your pittas into bite-sized pieces. If you’re into that extra crispy, rustic vibe, tearing them by hand is the way to go.
Spread the pitta pieces out on the tray in a nice even layer.
Drizzle over the Red Chilli Oil and give everything a good toss! We like to use about 3 tablespoons, because we love that slow-building heat!
Pop them in the oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Keep an eye on them - they can go from golden to “oops” pretty quickly!
Let them cool slightly (if you can resist).
Add a dip to take it to the next level.
