About the Founder
Sally has always had a passion for food. She studied Food Science at university before heading straight into the kitchens of London, where she trained and worked as a baker.
After almost a decade honing her skills as a baker, chocolatier, and chef, Sally went on to write her first cookbook, The Little Book of Bananas. The book showed people how to use up overripe bananas in ways that went far beyond banana bread, and marked the moment where Sally began connecting her love of food with a growing commitment to reducing waste.
While working as a Kitchen Manager, Sally came up with the idea for Laffe. So much food was going to was when there is no need. Coriander stalks, ginger peel... And so, with a lot of experimentation she came up with Laffe's first range of products which are a combination of incredibly delicious and eco-conscious!
